What do you expect from the AKDB? In the field of AI and Cloud we develop scalable, safe and sovereign AI solutions for public administration. Our aim is to make generic AI productive, responsible and economical. We combine modern cloud architectures with high data protection, stability and sustainability requirements.

You design and build a productive, scalable AI platform based on cloud and Kubernetes – not a proof of concept, but a real productive system. You develop LLM and GenAI applications that make administrative processes measurably more efficient. You can arrange different LLM providers and models and develop a flexible, interchangeable architecture. You establish clean DevOps and MLOps standards – from CI/CD to monitoring and observability. You automate infrastructure and deployments using infrastructure as code and container technologies. You take technical responsibility for performance, scalability, safety and sustainable operation in the regulated environment.

Multiannual experience in building and operating cloud-native systems in the productive environment – ideally with Kubernetes, Docker and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Helmet) Very good knowledge of Python (Go is a plus) and a solid software engineering confession for robust, wartable systems Practical experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch or TensorFlow) and productively used LLM architectures or GenAI applications Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and ideally MLOps principles including monitoring stacks (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) and workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow) Safe handling of relational data banks (e.g. PostgreSQL) and a good understanding of performance and scaling issues of distributed systems Technical architecture, quality standards and ideal experience in the regulated environment (data protection, security by design)
