The Rastatt plant with around 6,500 employees produces cars in the Mercedes-Benz entry segment, including the new CLA. The Rastatter compact car production covers the entire range of modern drive technologies with combustors, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles, making it even more precise to the wishes of demanding customers. Within the compact car production, our team of central rework is responsible for the care and quality assurance of vehicles with special tuning requirements as well as the structured feedback on fault priorities, storage measures and optimization solutions. In the function to be occupied, for two years at first, you will be fully willing to introduce your expertise in multi-week operations on site as part of national and international product approaches (so-called “reworking hub”).

These challenges come to you: Own-sponsored performance of quality and functional checks on customer vehicles Error analyses and documentation based on current test regulations (e.g. electronics, noises, tightness) Diagnostic work on complex vehicle systems including High-voltage components and motor diagnostics with subsequent repair Extensive mechanical, electrical and aggregate reworking Disassembly and assembly of units on new vehicles Pre- and post-processing as well as carrying out painting work on the new vehicle Assessment of vehicle and body damage as well as implementation of necessary bodywork (e.g. eliminate, grind, prime) Documentation of errors and analysis results and feedback to the polluter

Ideally qualify for this job:
