Number: MER00047GL Do you want to see how international logistics is created and controlled for central powertrain components? In your internship in Powertrain logistics, you will get exciting insights into the project management around electrical drive systems, batteries, axles and motors. You support the cross-site coordination of logistic topics and work with national and international partners – from the early project phase to the implementation towards series. You are close to the project: You will accompany experienced project managers logistics in analyses, voting and decision-making processes and gradually take over your own tasks, where you can take responsibility and introduce your ideas. Your tasks • Support for cross-site coordination of logistic activities in an international powertrain network – e.g. for electrical drive systems, batteries, axles and motors • Work on a smooth flow of information between the interfaces such as project, production, development, purchasing and transport logistics • Support for monitoring logistical work packages in terms of capacities, costs, dates and quality • Preparation and monitoring of voting and committee meetings, including presentations, protocols and reports • preparation of decision-making needs and the preparation of first proposals for action together with experienced colleagues • Working in following planning processes in new type and MOPF projects for different powertrain sizes • support in the analysis of logistical risks, bottlenecks and dependencies and in the derivation of appropriate measures • Cooperation with logistics managers of different locations and participation in the harmonisation of processes • Participation in cross-functional meetings and international coordination rounds in which you actively get to know the logistics perspective The activity can start from October 2026.

Your profile Subject • Continuous studies of logistics, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable discipline • Interest in automotive, powertrain, electric mobility, battery technology, drive components or international value creation networks • Basic understanding of logistical processes, e.g. in transport logistics, production logistics or planning • Safe handling of MS Office; first experiences with SAP, cplace or comparable tools are a plus • Good knowledge of German and English for cooperation in an international environment Personal & Methodical • Communication strength and joy in working with different disciplines and cultures • Structured, reliable and independent operation • Proactive, solution-oriented thinking and interest in advancing issues • High self-motivation and willingness to take responsibility for your own tasks • Ability to prepare complex content in a comprehensible manner and to present it in a address-oriented manner • Team spirit, openness and curiosity on a dynamic international project environment Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
