In this role you actively shape the future of the maritime system landscape. As a project engineer for networked system integration & digital engineering, you develop technologies for MUMT concepts, digital twins and modern system composite solutions. You work at the intersection between technology, modelling and process optimisation and bring their know-how to specify, integrate and develop demanding systems. Your tasks at a glance: Your core tasks include the development and integration of modern system-connected solutions, including MUMT strategies (manned-unmanned teaming) and digital-twin technologies to improve technological processes in the maritime industry. As part of the Requirements Engineering (RE), you can identify and structure system requirements and ensure that You are fully, consistent and technically unique. Based on model-based methods (MBSE), you will apply modern development principles to analyse system architecture, to streamline development processes and to identify technical risks in time. By creating digital models and simulation-based scenarios, you generate realistic images of complex systems that help to optimize, evaluate and develop technical solutions. With the development of concepts for human-machine cooperation, you enable an effective interaction between personnel and automated systems within connected architectures. In coordination with internal departments and external project partners, you will ensure an efficient flow of information, a close technical interconnection and a high level of innovation in the overall project.

Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in information or engineering sciences or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience (>5 years) in the field of system integration, including experience in the integration of complex technical systems Very good knowledge of security-relevant data transmission systems and their implementation in demanding communication structures Experience in modeling and implementing digital models for simulation and real-time monitoring Knowledge of model-based development processes (MBSE) and requirements engineering Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Ability to work with international teams and external partners Knowledge in the field of digital win, simulation techniques or military network and security protocols desirable International readiness (approx. 10%)
