Category Manager Installation (m/f/d)

In this strategically important position, you are responsible for the global network of our installation partners and promote the procurement strategy for assembly and construction services in international markets. In close cooperation with Sales, Engineering, Construction, Project Management and our regional teams, you will ensure that our projects are supported by powerful, reliable and competitive partners worldwide.

Your tasks: Responsibility for the Global Category Installation and the further development of the long-term procurement and partner strategy Construction, qualification and further development of an international network of installation partners and subcontractors Development and implementation of procurement strategies to ensure sustainable installation capacity in existing and new markets Negotiating framework agreements, project-related agreements and commercial terms with strategic partners Management and evaluation of partner performance as well as continuous optimization in terms of costs, quality, security and schedule Support for international growth initiatives and market entry through the establishment of resilient subcontractor networks Analysis of market and competition developments and identification of potentials to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the supply chain Promoting standardization and continuous improvement along the global installation supply chain

Successfully completed studies in the field of business management, engineering, construction/project management or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in category management, strategic purchasing, supplier management or business development, ideally in the fields of renewable energies, construction, EPC or infrastructure Very good understanding of entrepreneur management, installation processes and project execution Experience in building and managing international supplier and partner networks Proofable successes in the negotiation of commercial and contractual agreements Embossed analytical skills and a structured and entrepreneurial way of thinking High communication and stakeholder management expertise in an international environment English knowledge and international readiness
