You take over the further development and operation of our core insurance system Composite in the fields of product, inventory and damage based on the factor stretch suite. Your focus is on Java, Spring Boot and Factor-IPS. You can implement technical requirements from composite insurance into predictable and sustainable software solutions and ensure high quality and long-term usability. You analyse complex requirements and translate them into technical concepts and high-quality software. You actively contribute your technical perspective in professional discussions. In close cooperation with product management, professional configurators, customer service and other IT teams, you develop solutions that combine technical and technical requirements. In addition, you are actively involved in our agile development processes and are particularly involved in reflections, reviews and planning.

You have a study of (economic) computer science or a comparable subject or IT training, for example as a specialist in application development. You are also welcome with a comparable qualification and sound knowledge in software development. We are looking for profiles of different seniority – from initial practical experience in software development to multiannual experience in Java development of complex applications. Experience in the insurance industry is of advantage, but no need – your understanding of complex technical relationships and your willingness to work quickly into insurance processes are crucial. Java and Spring Boot can be safely mastered and also brings experience with Git, modern development tools and object-oriented software development. At the same time, you have the willingness to work into our factor-strain landscape as well as into the technical relationships of composite insurance. You work analytically, structured and self-responsively, you are interested in complex technical relationships and questioning requirements constructively. You will bring team spirit and communication strength together with specialist and IT.
