Responsibility for Backend Java Web Applications at HUK24.de and HUK.de Cooperation in the cross-functional team across the entire software development lifecycle Close coordination with internal contractors and advice on the technical feasibility of digital innovations Conception of new backend functions for the customer front end Construction of interfaces to existing backend systems Responsibility for deployment, operation and scaling of highly available backend services Use of automated tests (JUnit, Postman/Newman) for continuous quality assurance and optimization

Studies, training in IT or comparable qualification with focus on software development High expertise combined with team and communication strength in agile environment Multiannual experience in the development of Java-based applications with Spring Boot or Quarkus (ideally incl. MicroProfile) Experience with cloud environments (serverless on AWS), REST APIs and automation in CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of DevOps practices such as containerization, infrastructure as code and monitoring Willingness to continuously incorporate into new technologies and evaluation for project deployment Transfer of knowledge and best practices to colleagues, e.g. through code reviews or pairing
