Regionetz GmbH is the network operator of the city of Aachen, the city region of Aachen and in parts of the districts of Düren and Heinsberg. As a subsidiary of STAWAG, Stadtwerke Aachen Aktiengesellschaft, and EWV Energie- und Wasser-Versorgung GmbH, we bundle all the tasks relating to the construction and operation of networks and plants and thus ensure a reliable infrastructure in a large space with far over 700,000 inhabitants.

For the “Network Guide” section we are looking for you as

Aachen | from 01.05.2026 | Full time (38 hours/week) | unlimited Support our team for continued reliable, secure and sustainable operation of our network infrastructures. Planning, setup and operation of process network/system infrastructures (LAN, VPN, firewalls) Monitoring and analysis of network events to ensure a stable and secure network connectivity of all systems Planning, construction and operation of virtualization environments Conducting data and function tests with secondary technicians and control system administrators Implementation and maintenance of network and security solutions Implementation and monitoring of rollout strategies for distribution network digitization Documentation of network infrastructures and changes

Complete training as a specialist for system integration with training as a masterin or technicianin First experience in network administration IT/OT, ideally in a company of critical infrastructure (KRITIS) Knowledge of monitoring, remote maintenance, backup and firewall systems Safe handling of common standard software, especially MS Office Team player*in with analytical thinking and self-initiative Willingness to participate in readiness driving licence class B
