The CJD is one of the largest educational and social enterprises in Germany. In our therapeutic Living group "Adonia" in Königswinter, six young women aged from 14 to 18 years are accompanied with different psychiatric diagnosis (personality development disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and depression etc.).

We work according to the concept of DBT-A, the dialectic-behavioral therapy for adolescents, a behavior-therapeutic approach, which conveys the learning of functional strategies as an alternative to dysfunctional behavior.

As an educator*in / Pedagogical specialist (w/m/d) accompany the residents in challenging situations of life and provide help to stabilise in a self-determined life.

Together with Your team of professionals you will create a safe everyday life that is individually tailored to the needs of young people. Be there and design with us a place of stability and future perspective!

Your New Task

• Begleitung and Support of young people in everyday life
• Daily reflection talks with young people
• Structure, planning and implementation of Realtime activities and Ferienfreizeiten**
• Coordination of appointments
• Crise interventions and Help planning
• Cooperation with parents, guardians, youth offices, schools and employment offices
• Cooperation with external therapists

Your profile

• Completed training for the state-recognized Header / Healing Career / Youth and Home Education (w/m/d) or
• Completed study of Social Work / Social Education / Education or
• Comparable qualifications
• Pre-experience in the area of work with mentally ill people of advantage
• Systemic or therapeutic additional training desirable
• **Value-estimating attitude towards young people and parents
• Decisionable, reliable Personality with high empathy
• Conclusion for the respective Sickness picture
• readiness for shift, night and weekend service
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
