In our cross-functional team “Future UX-Concepts & UX-SW-Technologies” we design the vision of our UX Vision for the Mercedes-Benz user experience of the future. With this vision we develop a new, holistic customer experience in our vehicles and beyond. Our customers are at the heart of the Mercedes-Benz Experience. To accompany us on our way to the future of mobility, we are looking for creative participation in the design/development, prototypical realization and evaluation of future-oriented user experiences in the vehicle for a period of 5-6 months. These challenges include: Using the idea-finding, design and planning of user-friendly, interactive and multimodal experience in and around the vehicle in a vision of the future Using the identification and evaluation of suitable user-oriented modalities for interaction and user interface design, including using generic AI approaches, affective computing and supporting technologies Creation of User Stories/User Journeys by means of prototypical implementation of visualization and interaction concepts in our digital, multi-modal experience environments, among others in our 2D Toolchain, 3D Virtual/Augmented Reality environments, seat crates and aggregate carriers Independent development, design, animation and integration of 2D/3D assets and models to simulate new user interfaces With the help of the further development of our experience environments, e.g. based on the developed concept features With the help of the definition and evaluation of future SW architectures of technically complex interaction scenarios with different input and output channels and the integration of AI technology for future use in a series product Using user/technology research, problem analysis and definition, evaluation and evaluation of alternative interaction concepts Implementation of tasks in the context of agile sprint planning with active participation and independent task tracking, continuous documentation and regular presentation of work results Depending on your qualification profile and specific tasks, your focus is on the topics UX/UI conception and design, 2D/3D prototyping incl. 3D modeling and animation, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, UX/UI technology with focus on software and SW architecture.

Course in the field of UI/UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Animation and Game Design, Information Technology and Design, Media Informatics or a comparable course of study focusing on UI/UX, Artificial Intelligence, Usability or User Experience Creativity and experience in designing and creating digital prototypes with common UI/UX design & prototype tools such as Adobe CC Suite, Sketch and Protopia and/or very good knowledge in common 3D prototype tools such as Unity and 3D modeling tools such as Blender/Cinema4D Very good knowledge and first experience in the development of UX/UI concepts, ideally combined with very good knowledge in UX technologies, UX software and requirements for SW architecture Hands-on Experiences in Prototype Integration in Simulation and/or Test setups Great interest in technological trends and their potentials fun of independent work and challenges, recognizable by high motivation, commitment, team capacity and active communication, analytical thinking and strategic working Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office and SW development tools such as Atlassian Confluence, Jira, etc. Ideally a driving licence class B Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
