For the Department of Internal Medicine II – Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Haematology and Oncology, Palliative Medicine – with proactive employment in the Medical Center (MVZ) of the Klinikumsloh, we are looking for the next time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) The Department of Internal Medicine II – Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Haematology and Oncology, Palliative Medicine consists of a 16-member medical team led by Prof. Dr. med. Gero mass wedge. Internal Medicine II is the central oncological clinic of the house and leads the oncological center. It is the main cooperation partner of the five certified organ tumour centres. The clinic has 78 beds (including 8 pallet beds), of which 39 are assigned to the gastroenterology. There is a corresponding expertise in the treatment of gastric, intestinal, liver, bile path, pancreas and metabolic diseases. Around 1,500 gastroenterological patients are treated each year and more than 5,000 endoscopy and 2,000 Sonographies are carried out. There are four modern examination rooms and functional areas, including state-of-the-art technical equipment. The premises were very generously renovated and refurbished in 2017. The spectrum of endoscopic gastroenterology covers all removal methods (EMR, ESD, EFTR / FTRD), balloon dilatation, bounting, stent systems including retroperitoneal accesses (LAMS), blood breastfeeding processes (e.g. OTSC clips), Varicose germs, PEG and PECPJ There is a full training authorization for gastroenterology (36 months) as well as full training authorizations for internal medicine together with the Medical Clinic I and III as well as haematology / oncology. The readiness to call is carried out with the senior physicians of the other internist clinics in the collegial system. Endoscopic readiness is provided by gastroenterologists and pneumologists.

You are responsible for the upper medical care and care of the stationary and outpatient patients: within the site and in the team with a share of 25% in the nearby MVZ. A specialist (w/m/d) for internal medicine and gastroenterology with sufficient experience in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy as well as first experience in the field of ERCP is sought. Further abilities, such as endosonography, interventional procedures and contrast media sonography, can be acquired in the clinic. You are responsible for the upper medical care and care of the stationary and outpatient patients at the site and in the team with a share of 25% in the newly established MVZ gastroenterology.
