You guide and control the planning/construction/operation/waste water drainage department You are responsible for the operation, planning, refurbishment and renewal of wastewater plants You lead the staff and responsible organization, budget and efficient use of resources You conduct important projects and develop processes in compliance with legal requirements You ensure sustainable and environmentally sound plant operation You work in accordance with the requirements of the NIS-2 Directive and the National Implementation Act and support the compliance of IT security, risk and reporting obligations to strengthen cyber security in their own business

You have completed your studies (Diplom/Master) of Engineering with the Department of Civil Engineering and the capacity for the higher engineering service You have a strong leadership competence according to the requirements profile of the city of Mannheim You have optimal knowledge of environmental, water and procurement law as well as relevant technical regulations You bring professional and management experience in the field of wastewater, infrastructure or municipal disposal and disposal Strategic thinking and decision strength complete your profile
