Team & Tech Lead, Business Systems & Integration (m/f/d)

You want to develop more than software? You want to shape technical decisions, run a strong developer team and stay hands-on at the same time? Then this position fits you! In this role you are not the Tech Lead that only distributes tickets. And also not the guiding force that only looks at the code from the distance. You connect both and run a team of frontend, full-stack and backend developers and develop the systems on which our e-commerce business is based. From ERP and WMS to logistics to complex integrations: You make sure that solutions that can be loaded, scalable and future-oriented from technical requirements will become reliable.

Your field: Leadership meets Engineering You lead people: You coach your team, develop talents and create the framework conditions in which good software can be created. You design technology: you meet architectural decisions, set technical standards and have a look at code quality, performance and scalability. You develop yourself: With PHP/Laravel you work hands-on on demanding features and integrations. You think business: you understand technical challenges and translate them into pragmatic technical solutions – from initial analysis to productive operation. You continue to think: Together with your team, you develop our engineering, quality and delivery processes. And then there's AI. We don't just want to use the tools of today. We want to find out what is possible with AI in software engineering tomorrow. Therefore, you will use AI-based and increasingly agentic development tools for analysis, development and quality assurance – responsibly and with a clear look at quality and risks. You don't have to master any AI tool today. Curiosity, readiness to learn and the will to try new ways are more important to us.

WHAT WHAT WHAT? You run, coach and develop a developer team from frontend, full stack and backend developers. You actively develop with PHP/Laravel and implement complex features and integrations. You are responsible for architecture, code quality, performance, releases and technical standards. You translate technical requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. You accompany solutions from analysis to productive operation. You develop our development, quality and delivery processes within our DevOps-&-Platform standards. You work closely with ERP, WMS, DevOps, BI/Data and external partners. Together with your team, you establish modern AI-based development methods.

WHAT WHAT? Multiannual experience in software development, ideally complemented by first leadership experience Very good knowledge of PHP/Laravel, REST APIs and MySQL Experience with cues, events and integration patterns Experience with scalable service architectures, containerization, CI/CD and monitoring Technical judgment and high standards of quality Pleasure to translate complex technical problems into pragmatic technical solutions Openness for AI-based and agentic software development The ability to bring people and technology together
