The position is to be taken at the IT Infrastructure Management (INF) department in the department 7 – Information and Communication Technology (DICT) at the next possible time. The IT infrastructure management department manages a few thousand servers, storage systems and network components, and thus a variety of company-relevant data and IT systems in the sense of a critical infrastructure. The DICT INF guarantees reliable IT operation at the University Medical Center Frankfurt and ensures the maintenance of the IT-supported hospital operation and ensures reliable and fast patient care. In addition, the DICT INF secures IT operation in the context of IT security. We are looking for an Exchange and Groupware specialist/specialists who will also take over the TechLead role in our plan and build team based on their experience in the field of operations. In this role you are responsible for the stable operation, maintenance, continuous development and service provider control in our Exchange/Group and Collaboration Software environment. You also represent your field of responsibility in the context of projects and enquiries before stakeholders from the clinical field and in the context of audits. You work closely with various departments and ensure that the IT services you provide are running reliably, safely and efficiently. Your tasks: Responsibility for the operation and development of Microsoft Exchange environments as well as all relevant processing and security bodies Responsibility for the operation and development of group and collaboration software such as WebEx, MS Teams Design and ensure compliance with IT policies, concepts and operating processes as well as safety standards, creation and maintenance of documentation as well as active knowledge sharing in the team Service provider control in exchange and groupware-related areas, cooperation with internal and external teams to manage incidents, requests, problems and changes Participation in readiness and support in escalation

You have a successfully completed study of computer science or a comparable discipline. You have well-founded (circa five years) professional experience in the field of Microsoft Exchange Administration as well as experience in the operation of group and collaboration software. You have a well-founded expertise in the administration of Microsoft Exchange servers as well as Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) as well as a high affinity for Active-Directory structures. You have very good knowledge in the field of e-mail security and encryption. Experience with ITIL-based management practices and license and certificate management is also desirable. Also desirable: knowledge in automation and know-how in hybrid or cloud environments. You bring very good knowledge of German in word and writing for this position.
