Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

The Optima-Aegidius Group is an owner-managed family-run company in the centre of Munich, which has been very successful for over 50 years in almost all areas of conservation and project development in Germany and abroad.

We currently hold about 350,000 m2 of real estate in good locations worth about 1 billion. € in own and foreign stock. Locations include Munich, Berlin, Dresden, New York, Kitzbühel, Palma de Mallorca and Cádiz.

We develop office and residential projects in Germany and abroad with a current project volume of around €1.2 billion and stand for a successful, dynamic growth with significant prospects.

Your duties In this key position, you assume the overall technical and organisational responsibility for the accounting of the Optima-Aegidius group of companies. You ensure the regularity of the accounting, are responsible for the preparation of annual accounts, the accounting management of 60 project companies and continuously develop processes and structures, especially in the context of digitalization.

Total responsibility and implementation for the financial accounting of the group of companies including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB (including for about 60 companies in the group of companies) and for reporting Professional leadership and further development of the accounting team (currently 6 employees in the field of financial accounting) Tax supervision in cooperation with external auditors (including turnover tax, current declarations) and monitoring of audits Monitoring and control of payment transactions and ensuring a reliable accounting and release process Central contact person for tax advisors, auditors and authorities Accountant accompaniment of the operational project business in questions together with the project developers further development and digitization of accounting processes/ERP system landscape; Participation in the introduction of new software solutions Process optimization with the aim of shortening the final job in time and increasing the data quality Optimization of interfaces to planning and controlling as well as financing and ensuring efficient information flow

Successfully completed commercial training or business studies focusing on accounting/finance At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate accounting and/or in a tax advisory or Auditing company Experience in the real estate industry (stockholder/project development) and in the mapping of complex social structures HGB and solid tax knowledge Secure handling of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, RELion); Openness for digitalization and the introduction of new software solutions Teamability and a clear, value-aware communication style Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (native language or level C2)
