Head of Production and Maintenance (m/f/d)

As a managing employee and partner of the managing directors at eye level, you are for approx. 350 employees in production and 35 employees in maintenance. You are waiting for an ambitious and pragmatic management personality (m/w/d), equipped with dynamics, strategic thinking and the will to initiate and implement changes, and to promote digitalization and automation. This requires your expertise in the course of a production setup in Asia.

Total responsibility for manufacturing planning, control and optimization Technical and disciplinary management responsibility about the currently 4 production managers and the 2 service managers in maintenance Ensuring the quality, time and cost-oriented production order fulfillment by means of an adequate code number system Continuous analysis and evaluation of operational performance and development of technical and personnel measures to optimise the resources used Key driver of capacity planning processes in coordination with sales and controlling Continuing automation / digitization in production Assessment of technical innovations / manufacturing methods and procedures and corresponding implementation in the area of responsibility Active participation in the development of new products and conversion into series production Optimization and standardization of production and technologies and processes to ensure highest productivity and quality

Graduate degree Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Comparative Qualification Practical guide personality with visions and pragmatic principles of action Multiannual professional experience in relevant areas, experience in working and processing of steel Experience in building an international production site desirable Digital competence, professional handling of ERP systems (SAP) Practical experience with KPIs and shopfloor management flowing English skills in word and writing
