Head of Logistics (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operational management, the strategic management and the budget for a large logistical area (several hundred employees), including capacity, resource and personnel planning. As a manager, you promote, motivate and develop employees and, in cooperation with your group leaders and the works council, create a valuable and motivating working environment. You guarantee highest customer orientation by ensuring compliance with the contractually fixed Service Level Agreements. In case of deviations, you actively and consistently initiate effective countermeasures. You actively shape the future of your area: you not only optimise complex logistical processes, but also drive strategic projects on digitalization and automation decisively.

You have a completed degree (e.g. logistics, economic engineering, BWL) or a comparable qualification with well-founded experience. You bring multi-year leadership and professional experience in a logistics, industrial or commercial company, ideally in contract logistics. You have extensive experience in KPI control, process optimization and change management combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for digitalization. As an entrepreneurial leader, you understand how to inspire people to change, develop teams effectively and bring them together in a targeted manner. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing complete your profile.
