As a senior UX/service designer, you will significantly shape the conceptual and strategic development of the BARMER eCare electronic patient file. Develop solutions that optimally combine user needs, technical feasibility and corporate goals. The perspective of users is consistent in the team and ensures that their needs are the highest priority throughout the product development process. They accompany all phases of the design process – from user research and analysis to the conception and the implementation and continuous optimization of the app. A wide repertoire of methods from the Service Design and UX Design are used to effectively solve complex challenges. In an agile, interdisciplinary environment, you work closely with product owners, IT architects, developers and service experts.

They have a degree in strategic design, service design, user experience design, communication sciences or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in the development of digital services – ideally in the healthcare sector or in complex, user-centric projects – will distinguish you. The sovereign handling of methods from design thinking as well as a well-founded knowledge in user research are part of your craftsmanship. Tools such as Figma, Miro or other collaborative platforms apply routined. They are familiar with agile working methods such as Scrum and know the dynamics of iterative product development processes. A self-responsible, structured manner of operation and flexibility in handling new framework conditions complete your profile. Digitalization of healthcare is not only a trend for you, but a personal concern. They bring up current knowledge of developments in digital health. With your communicative strength, empathy and persuasive power, you can gain internal and external stakeholders for user-centred solutions. Your very good German knowledge (at least C1 level) allows you to provide precise, professional and stylistic communication in the German-speaking environment.
