IT Expert Military IT - Operations Management (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. The “International, Mission & Training” (IM&T) department is close to the Bundeswehr and supports exercises and operations at the tactical and operative level. In addition to consulting, development and support for individual IT solution approaches of specific military projects, we offer the Bundeswehr expertise in the field of IT that is near-use.

Implementation of training courses for IT specialists from the Bundeswehr in the context of the deployment preparation at the IT training center of the Bundeswehr in Lohheide and also on site at the service, training and deployment sites of the Bundeswehr Knowledge and competence switching in the field of tool-based interaction of the various roles in the context of the IT operation of the Bundeswehr Planning, implementation and refurbishment of IT support of the Bundeswehr on site in exercises, equivalent obligations and operations in Germany and abroad Cooperation and regular exchange with architectural and product managers and with the customer to take into account practical aspects

Completed training or studies in the IT environment About 2 years of relevant professional experience and experience with military tasks and regulations Very good understanding of IT operations management and well-founded experience in IT service management, corresponding ITIL certification of advantage Knowledge of architecture requirements of the BWI, Bundeswehr (ADMBw) and NATO (NAF) as well as experiences in Bundeswehr or NATO projects Good moderation, presentation and communication skills, readiness to learn and a conflictable, independent and targeted way of working German and good English skills, country-wide readiness to travel mostly for one week, class B licence
