Number: MER00046T1 In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. New concepts for future product generations are developed, tested and evaluated in the field of cockpit, center console and door paneling. A special focus is on securing functions, ergonomics, comfort, appreciation, quality, costs, weight and sustainability. As part of the working student activity, you support the team in the coordination, preparation, implementation and evaluation of tests on partial structures of the cockpit and in the entire vehicle. You will gain insights into the interdisciplinary development of interior components and actively participate in the preparation of test sizes efficiently, tune component levels and prepare test results in a structured manner. Your activities include: Coordination and tracking of component stands and coordination of the required components for experimental setups

Preparation of subassemblies and test vehicles including documentation of the respective boundary conditions

Support in the planning and execution of experiments in the field of cockpit, center console and adjacent interiors

Evaluation, preparation and structured representation of test results as a basis for technical evaluations and further development steps

Degree course in the technical field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, material sciences or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
