Number: MER0003ZYP Language Technologies in the field of GCSP/ROL is part of the Retail Operations unit established within GCSP and is responsible for the organization and control of translation, interpreting and synchronization services throughout the entire group. Our team ''Language Technologies R&D, Driver Information, MS and Production'' is working closely with internal customers to develop efficient, digital and cost-effective voice services. We rely on IT and AI solutions as well as the latest language technologies (GenAI). These challenges include: You work with employees and internal customers (development, sales and aftersales) at the direct user experience of the end customer in up to 40 foreign languages (MBUX, Voice Assistant, websites, apps, display displays, operating instructions) - so the joint results will be available tomorrow in the vehicle and are decisive for the success of our vehicles

You support the employees in the following tasks: Customer Management: You combine the requirements of your customers (development, sales or aftersales) with existing Language standard products (processes, IT tools, supplier landscape) and develop them to benchmark solutions

Analysis of complex situations and processes: further development and implementation of forward-looking language technologies, in particular in the field of computer linguistics and “Generative AI”

Optimization of foreign language services (operative and strategic)

You are committed to achieving the goal in terms of quality, costs and appointments

You make a direct contribution to the company's success by ensuring the technical translations and the satisfaction of internal and external customers

The activity can begin from April 2026.

Studies – a wide range of possible courses are suitable for this location: e.g. Computer linguistics, natural language processing, IT or translation management, communication and media management with a focus on language technologies and/or artificial intelligence, business informatics, business engineering, applied mathematics or similar

Language – You speak German and English

Tools – You have a safe handling of MS Office and programming skills in Python

Abstraction power – You have a high strategic mindset and can quickly manage complex structures and prepare them compactly, you still own entrepreneurial thinking
