Finance Manager (m/w/d) for medium-sized technology company

For the location in the northwestern surrounding of Hamburg, near Itzehoe, we are looking for a Finance Manager (m/w/d) at the next time and in full time. In this position, you take over responsible management and further development of the financial processes of an international medium-sized company – from the creation of financial statements and corporate reporting to liquidity management and the management of the 8-member finance team. You are the central contact person for tax and financial issues both internally and externally.

Do you bring a completed study in the financial sector and well-founded professional experience in accounting? Coordination and support in the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for two companies Cooperation with external tax advisors and auditors, in particular as part of annual accounts and tax issues Support in the preparation of tax returns and in the preparation and implementation of audits Introduction to International Accounting Standards (IFRS) and their application in practice Responsibility for liquidity management, including planning, controlling and monitoring of payment flows Creating Group-wide reporting and ensuring timely reporting taking into account qualitative standards Designing and further developing the Department of Finance, in particular with regard to processes, structures and digitalization Takeover of personnel responsibility for a team of 8 employees incl. Leadership, development and organization

Completed studies in finance, accounting, taxation or a comparable degree programme Multiannual professional experience in financial or accounting First leadership experience is desirable Knowledge of tax law and a marked affinity on tax issues (including turnover tax, wage tax) Very good knowledge of commercial law (HGB); Knowledge in the international accounting standard (IFRS) is beneficial or willing to acquire it Experience in financial planning, analysis and control as well as in controlling Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), ideally experience with the introduction of such systems Understanding digital financial processes and ideally experience in their implementation Embossed communication strength, inter alia in exchange with big customers / key accounts and internal stakeholders Teamability, structured and analytical methods, and a high level of patience and solution orientation Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
