As an IT system manager (m/w/d), you have the cap and take responsibility for the stable and secure operation as well as the strategic development of our IT infrastructure: IT infrastructure & system operation: With your team, you manage our entire IT infrastructure including server landscapes (physically and virtually), network components, storage systems and the hardware and software solutions used. You monitor the operation and ensure high availability and performance. System Administration & Lifecycle Management: You take responsibility for the installation, configuration and maintenance of our systems. You coordinate and control the tasks of your team, perform complex or particularly critical tasks yourself and ensure that all systems are regularly updated, patched and optimized. IT Security & Compliance: You implement and monitor our IT security policies by monitoring and reporting (e.g. backup/recovery, firewalls, antivirus, network segmentation), identify potential vulnerabilities and initiate proactive risk mitigation measures. Strategy & Project Management: In close coordination with the management, you develop the strategy for systemic IT and conduct IT projects independently – from the requirement analysis, planning, implementation and documentation. User Support & Training: For smooth operations at our Servicedesk, you will find sustainable solutions for the use of our systems and user training with your colleagues. Process analysis & optimization: You analyze existing IT processes, identify optimization potentials and implement technical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
