The IT Global Service & Parts division is responsible for the IT system landscape of the car business for after-sales with the aim of optimally supporting the business processes by using standard software and innovative special solutions. The responsibility ranges across the entire application life cycle from the development of the strategy, the consulting of the participating areas, the conception, software implementation and the rollout of applications to the management of the IT system landscape. In our IT Retail department, innovative workshop systems are created for an integrated information and process landscape. We are planning and responsible for the holistic integration, implementation and rollout of applications relevant to the global aftersales, thereby contributing to digitalization and to efficient, powerful retail processes. The core piece of our products is the XENTRY Portal with its presentation of information and workflows optimized for retailers to secure retail efficiency. XENTRY Portal is used worldwide for 6000 retailers in 192 countries. We consistently design our system landscape in the sense of reusable cloud services. The focus of the activity is on products and solutions in the context of the target group workshop employees. In the XENTRY Portal Products team, we are responsible for the XENTRY Portal products and the integration of backend systems. Our goal is to digitize the processes of workshops worldwide and ensure seamless integration of all after-sales products. A customer-centric and product-oriented approach is important to us in order to unlock sales potential and increase the efficiency in the workshops. Our work is characterised by agile culture and high self-responsibility in the product teams. This is what awaits you during your student work: You support our Product Owner in operating day-to-day business and gain insight into the agile software development, IT architecture and technical innovations within a large group You support us in the technical documentation of our products and services Together with our international development teams, you support us as part of our standardization initiative in the migration of tools and systems into modern cloud architectures. You support the preparation and execution of agile workshops and retrospectives in the team With appropriate qualifications, you can take over software development activities.

Course in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS-Office (additionally first knowledge of software development as well as agile working methods (Scrum + SAFe) and tools such as GitHub, Jira and Confluence) Interested in modern IT architectures, agile software development and latest IT technologies (knowledge about DevSecOps, Cloud, FOSS, Microservices, API, data-driven Architectures) Reliability, independentness and self-initiative Teamability, proactivity, self-confidence and responsibility Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
