Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Monitoring the security landscape: You identify threats at an early stage and thus contribute significantly to the stability and security of the IT architecture. Implementation of Incident Response Measures: Through your structured procedure, you will ensure a quick analysis, effective containment and sustainable recovery. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint administration: With your professional support, you increase the degree of protection of endpoints and systematically reduce potential attack areas. Use of Microsoft Sentinel (monitoring and use cases): Through the targeted use of use cases, you improve the detection depth and accelerate safety-relevant decision-making processes. Operation of the Tenable vulnerability manager: Based on sound analyses, you prioritise risks and initiate targeted measures to cure the systems. Connection of new systems to the SIEM: With your architectural view, you will ensure a complete, consistent and correlative event acquisition. Cooperation with the MDR service provider: In close coordination, you will receive a qualified evaluation and efficient processing of security-relevant alarms. Interface to internal disciplines: Through your coordinating role, you promote a uniform understanding of security and smooth implementation of architectural requirements.

Complete training in the IT field or completed studies in the field of cybersecurity, computer science, business informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual professional experience in Security Operations, Incident Response and Security Solutions Administration Knowledge in handling SIEM solutions, especially Microsoft Sentinel Experience in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint administration Know-How in Security Incidents Management Safe handling of vulnerability scanner Tenable desirable Very good expertise in IT security Structured operation, sense of responsibility, care and accuracy Very good knowledge of German and English
