Own credit risk-related committees and ensure effective governance. Manage risk-relevant underwriting and credit policy exceptions (CPE). Drive regulatory change management
Strategic Insight Provide business and market intelligence to inform risk decisions. Assessing changes on portfolio and strategy regarding credit risk.
Master's degree in a relevant subject (business economics, engineering, statistics, econometrics, applied mathematics, or similar) Experience with portfolio monitoring, risk appetite management and stress testing Several years of experience working in 2nd line financial risk functions within the financial sector, including several years in an EU ( ECB superviseddd) bank Experience across all stages of the customer lifecycle for mortgage and personal loan products (origination, loan servicing, early arrears, intensified – and problem loan management) Proper understanding and knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. MaRisk, EBA GLOM, DoD, Forbearance) Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and regulatorys Familiarity with EWI frameworks, watchlist processes, and property assessment concepts Proficiency in data-driven risk monitoring and reporting Fluency in written and spoken English and German
