in your role as development engineer system dynamics with focus on software development for a simulation model, you will develop, evaluate and document the structure of an internally developed simulation and mechatronic toolbox for projection and illumination optics of microlithography systems

This also includes the responsibility for the development and documentation pipeline for the software development in the team, which you will further develop

for this purpose, you will develop a robust code base for modelling, simulation and analysis of highly complex mechatronic systems, as well as integrate existing controller algorithms for fast and highly accurate positioning of fine-mechanical components into the toolbox; support the derivation of specifications and budgets for components

They are involved in an interdisciplinary team and work closely with customers (internal/external) as well as development partners

In order to bring together the requirements of the different stakeholders, you are in regular exchange with the requesters

very good university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, technical cybernetics or a comparable discipline, with doctoral or professional experience

knowledge in the field of system analysis (frequency and time range) and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems (MKS, FEM, structural dynamics, modelling method), experience in the validation of dynamic models

very good knowledge in Matlab and object-oriented programming as well as in software development (CI/CD, git, agile development), knowledge in other programming languages desirable

an independent and systematic way of working, very good organizational and communicative skills, high enforcement capacity

Joy in work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a highly dynamic environment and a high level of commitment and readiness

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
