WindMW Service GmbH has been operating a service station on Helgoland since 2014 for the operation of the Meerwind Süd|Ost wind farm, which is about 23 km north of the island. Thus we make a significant contribution to the efficient supply of regenerative offshore wind energy in Germany.

In order to support our team in the Legal Department, we are looking for committed students of the law or another legal discipline for a student activity in Bremerhaven for at least 12 months and 10 hours/week.

As a working student w|m|d in the legal department, you can support the legal team in the daily work and bring your knowledge from the course to practice: Search and opinion: You deal with legal issues relating to civil, corporate, energy, procurement and labour law, create brief reports, drafts of decisions and presentations, and observe relevant legislative changes and jurisdiction (Germany / EU). Contract management: You work with the creation, testing and standardization of contracts (e.g. service, NDA, delivery and maintenance contracts) and ensure that your care is always up-to-date with contract patterns and clause libraries. Compliance and data protection: You actively work with the design and implementation of compliance policies and processes. You prepare training documents, internal communication formats and data protection topics such as processing directories and deletion concepts and update business agreements. Administration and Organization: You maintain databases, contract and deposit systems, document processes and projects and are involved in the preparation and follow-up of appointments and meetings.

Studies: You are currently studying in law / law (state exams) or Economic law or legal management (LL.B./LL.M.). Expertise: You have basic knowledge of civil and corporate law and are ideally interested in energy law, contract law, compliance and data protection law. Tools: You can safely use MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as legal databases and literature (e.g. comments, journals) – you can quickly access digital platforms thanks to your IT affinity. Language competence: You communicate appropriately according to the situation and have very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1) – good knowledge of English is advantageous. Working style: You are going to perform your tasks reliably, structured and carefully, enjoy legal argumentation and bring your distinct analytical skills into play. You like to work independently, but also appreciate the open exchange in the team and always know when discretion is required.
