Together for excellence. We are now looking for student support in the development of functional and software development for the pre- and series development of air conditioning technology. As part of the Department of Thermal Comfort and Air Quality Mercedes-Benz Cars, the core task of the team is to develop the software and functional development of air conditioning components, the self-diagnosis capability and serviceability for all current and future series. The tasks are designed for 1 to 3 days a week (maximum 20 h per week), with home office share within Germany and presence share in the Sindelfingen plant. The presence share can be defined individually in consultation. We are looking for student employees who are interested in working with the team for at least one year. For a lighter start, a team member will take charge of the introduction and support. In addition, there will be regular consultations on the task and outcome. These challenges include: Activity description: Exciting tasks in the field of diagnostics/software development and testing Programming of automation (Python/Excel) Coordination of measuring vehicles and components Self-employed diagnostic tests/measurements in the vehicle/test stand or in place Independent consultation with stakeholders and ideas The activity can begin from mid-July 2026.

You study mechatronics, information technology, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable study course and are immatriculated You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing You already have experience in programming languages such as Python/C/C++ or the like. Ideally, you already have experience with vehicle systems and vehicle networks (Ethernet/LIN/CAN) Knowledge of software development and experience in embedded and/or automotive software are advantageous You are interested in learning new technologies and working on new topics You have an analytical way of thinking and strategic working Ideally, you bring practical experience in the fields of vehicle technology, technical informatics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or the like with
