The Medical Performance Management (MLM) ensures the documentation and coding of clinical performance as a basis for accounting with cost-beneficiaries and assesses their complaints for the entire hospital operation of the Charité. In doing so, the MLM analyzes the documatation and coding processes and supports the clinics, in particular through advice and training, in the increase in revenues and assurance and is responsible for the complete complaint process. As a encoding specialist you take over an important interface in the clinics: You ensure a complete and correct coding of treatment cases based on the proceeds ICD-10-GM, OPS, Alpha/Orpha encoding and the German coding guidelines. You advise and support staff: in the medical field -, care and function services on questions of documentation and coding You will support the assessment of MD opinions and billings from your area. We aim to encoding in case-related cases with regular exchange with the clinical leaders of your area (e.g. DRG visites) and support in the residence time control. You can also apply AI-based coding suggestions. After completion of the installation, mobile work is possible up to 2 days/week.

In addition to a safe, competent occurrence, your special qualities include very good communication skills. You like to work in the team, are enforceable, have a good self-organization and a high interest in innovative processes. You have completed vocational training in a medical or commercial training profession, ideally as health and nursing staff:in addition, You ideally have at least 2 years of professional experience as a coding specialist or in a hospital in medical controlling. You have a completed training or qualification as a medical coding specialist You have good user knowledge in MS-Office, Internet, hospital information systems, ideally SAP i.s.h.med and common coding software (e.g. ID DIACOS, Momo). You have a high IT affinity and are always willing to adapt to changes. You bring very good German knowledge in word and writing (at least C1) The tasks sound exciting?
