Objective of the task As a management of Strategic IT, you actively shape the digital development of the Ruhrbahn. You develop the IT strategy in line with the company's goals and guide standards, target images, sourcing decisions and priorities for the IT portfolio. In addition, you will ensure an orderly, prioritized and economical implementation of IT topics at the Ruhrbahn – from the requirements of the departments to the service provider control to the IT budget, the procurements and the contracts. In doing so, you will keep in mind technical requirements, technical possibilities, costs, risks, dependencies and decision-making requirements and agree closely with the area management, the information security officer, the departments, the competent internal bodies and the IT service provider. Your tasks Professional organizational and personal leadership and further development of the team Ensuring a clear prioritization within the team and controlling tasks, capacities and responsibilities, so that the agreed IT/OT requirements are progressing reliably further development of the existing requirement management as well as control of the structured recording, evaluation, bundling and comprehensible prioritization of requirements from the fields of expertise Management of early consideration of information security, data protection requirements, KRITIS/NIS2 and risk management requirements and coordination with the Information Security Officer and the relevant functions Initiation and support of IT/OT projects and cross-departmental measures from the perspective of strategic IT as well as monitoring the implementation of shared requirements with the right stakeholders preparation of decision bases, so that priorities, costs, risks, impacts and next steps are comprehensible Control of IT service providers with a view to performance, quality, dates and cost-effectiveness Responsibility for IT budget, procurement, contract management and commercial management

Complete study of economic informatics, computer science, business management or a comparable discipline leadership experience as well as the ability to develop employees, to prioritize tasks and to transfer responsibility in a targeted manner Multiannual experience in managing IT topics, IT services, projects or external service providers Experience in request management and in cooperation with departments and internal and external interfaces Understanding information security, data protection, IT risk management and regulatory requirements (e.g. KRITIS/NIS2) Commercial understanding of IT budget, procurement, contracts and controlling Ability to make complex issues understandable, prepare decisions and make priorities transparent Sovereign appearance, pronounced communication skills and high decision-making and problem-solving competence in dealing with complex topics and different stakeholders
