Traineeship PR & Editorial - Corporate Communications (m/f/d)

Welcome to Allianz communicate on all channels: In a two-year volunteer in Allianz Versicherungs-AG's corporate communication, you learn how a leading insurance company tells exciting stories and effectively conveys messages. Whether press release, intranet, social media, executive communication, podcast or video - creative, professional storytelling is required on all platforms. The Volontariat is based on the training plans of the industry associations for public relations and journalism and offers you an entry as a PR and media professional (m/w/d). The majority takes place at the Allianz site in Unterföhring. With around 13 million private and corporate customers, Allianz Versicherungs-AG is one of the most important companies in the Allianz Group. It is responsible, among other things, for car, residential, liability, legal protection and accident insurance in Germany. Networking within the Allianz Group is narrow, the spectrum of topics wide. It ranges from future issues to sustainability, AI and mobility to sports, economic and cultural issues. The place is limited to 24 months.

This is what we expect as a volunteer PR & Editorial - Corporate Communication (m/w/d) Team culture: Agiles, an experimental team from experienced communication professionals with PR, journalism and insurance backgrounds that share their knowledge in practice Development: Various ways to try, develop and specialize in the course of the Volontariat - internally as well as through external seminars PR practice: writing press releases and speeches, answering media requests, planning and implementing communication measures and events Editorial work: Researching, writing and editing journalistic contributions (messages, interviews, reports) for online, print and social media channels Content Production: Conception, script development, moderation, realization and editing of podcasts and video formats Network: Regular exchange and hospitation opportunities in other areas of Allianz Group (e.g. Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance, Group Communications) Learning by Doing: Practical training according to the standards of the industry associations for PR and journalism in a professional business environment

This is what you bring with you as a volunteer PR & Editor - Corporate Communication (m/w/d) Education: Complete university studies (e.g. communication, journalism, media, humanities) and/or education in media production or comparable knowledge Language competence: Excellent written and oral expressiveness in German and good English skills Thinking: Very good analytical thinking, rapid understanding, curiosity and creativity Working: Joy of team-oriented cooperation combined with a high degree of self-motivation and independent work Thematic interest: interest in economic, insurance and future issues as well as strong willingness to learn Practical experience: First experiences in editors, content agencies or in press and public relations are a plus Media affinity: High affinity for digital media and first practical experience with the production of video or audio formats are another plus Openness for creative and innovative solutions as well as joy in dealing with pioneering technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
