Head of Transport Research with a focus on digitalisation (m/f/d)

Strategic and operational overall responsibility for transport research – including technical and disciplinary leadership, development and promotion of approx. 20 employees and external survey staff (approximately 6-10 persons), economic management and representation of MVV GmbH as a procurator:into the outside. Data, analyses and revenue management in the MVV system – from the design, operation and further development of the AFZ system to traffic surveys and to the organisation of revenue distribution including Germany ticket. Quality, reporting and resilient decision bases – through the generation, quality assurance and acceptance of relevant data, the production of composite statistics and the implementation of quality measurements in regional bus traffic. Strategic development of transport research – with the aim of modern, data-based and digitally aligning methods, processes and structures, as well as identifying, evaluating and effectively introducing innovative technologies, in particular AI-based applications. Cooperation, contracts and negotiations – in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to develop professional standards, digital solutions and sustainable composite processes.

Industry knowledge, as well as in the field of transport research Multiannual experience in the development and implementation of digital processes, structures and transformation projects Proven competence in handling innovative technologies and current developments in artificial intelligence Successfully completed academic studies (master or equivalent); a promotion is advantageous Embossed analytical and conceptual skills and a high degree of design will Communication strength, leadership skills and the ability to understand complex technical relationships You have a secure understanding of data-driven working methods – from the collection and structuring to the evaluation and acceptance of professionally relevant data – and combine scientific demands with pragmatic implementation strength.
