Solution Engineer Zscaler (m/f/d)

As a solution engineer focusing on Zscaler, you play a key role in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for our customers. You are the technical expert who accompanies our customers from the first idea to successful integration Technical advice and pre-sales support: You advise our customers and interested parties comprehensively on the Zscaler products and services. This includes the implementation of presentations, workshops and product demos Design and Architecture: You develop and develop customized Zscaler architectures that meet the specific security requirements and business objectives of our customers Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and pilot projects: You plan and run PoCs as well as pilot projects to demonstrate the benefits of Zscaler solutions in the customer environment Implementation and Integration: You support the implementation, configuration and integration of Zscaler solutions into existing IT infrastructures Troubleshooting and Optimization: You identify and resolve technical problems and optimise existing Zscaler implementations to ensure maximum performance and safety Knowledge sharing and training: You share your expertise within the team and train customers as needed in the use of the Zscaler platform Market observation: Keep up to date on the latest trends and developments in cloud security and Zscaler technologies

We are looking for a dedicated personality with a strong technical background and passion for innovative security technologies Complete study of computer science, business informatics or comparable technical training with relevant professional experience Multiannual professional experience in a comparable role as Solution Engineer, Technical Consultant or System Engineer with focus on Zero Trust Comprehensive knowledge of the Zscaler product range, in particular Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Certifications are a big plus Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS), firewalls, proxy, VPNs and common authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth, LDAP) Experience with cloud technologies and the integration of security solutions in cloud environments Practical experience with script languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) for automation and configuration is advantageous Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English to clearly and understand complex technical issues Analytical and solution-oriented thinking with the ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions Team player with a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and the willingness to continue training
