About us

The transport company Ludwigslust-Parchim mbH (VLP) is the mobility service provider in the district Ludwigslust-Parchim. With more than 450 employees, we ensure public transport (ÖPNV) and operate both the county and the Neuhaus office in the district of Lüneburg (Niedersachsen). Our company is characterized by innovative solutions and future-oriented concepts. A special feature of our offer is the extensive call bus system, which has been available throughout the entire county since 2018. This system enables even remote locations to be flexibly and properly connected to the PNV, which means that we sustainably secure the existence of rural areas. In the field of electromobility, we are pioneers: Already in 2021, we switched our buses to a large extent to electric mobility. With currently 73 electric vehicles - from a total of over 300 vehicles - we consistently pursue the goal of climate-neutral bus transport. We are currently working on the integration of autonomous call buses into our transport offer. Under the ARuf_LUP project, five autonomous vehicles are integrated into our existing call bus system to further improve the mobility of the population and reduce CO2 emissions. Digitization of all operational processes and customer communication is another focus of our corporate strategy. Through the implementation of modern technologies, we optimize our processes and offer our passengers contemporary services. With these measures we set standards for sustainable public transport in rural areas. We implement equal opportunities and strive to increase the proportion of women in the company. Your tasks with us

• Responsibility: safe and reliable transport of our passengers in scheduled and occasional traffic
• Customer service: sales and control of tickets and tickets
• Communication: Information for our passengers on fares and routes

You bring it with

• Training: valid driving licence of class D/DE and professional driver qualification or Ready to purchase Class D driving licence in the VLP driving school with a C/CE driving licence and a minimum age of 24 years
• Soft Skills: Responsibility and reliability, friendly, factual appearance and a well-kept appearance
• Motivation: willingness to work at weekends
• Professional knowledge: ideally local knowledge in the operating area of the service station (one is incorporated by the service line)
