In our internal audit, you take responsibility for demanding examination and consulting topics and help to develop the company in a sustainable manner. You act as a competent Sparring partner for specialist areas, management and subsidiary.

Own-responsible planning, management and implementation of complex audits in different business areas of the bank and at individual and group level Analysis of business processes, control structures and governance processes as well as deriving sound, practical and effective recommendations for action Compilation of addressable audit reports with clear assessment of findings, comprehensible risk assessment and concrete added value for the organisation Presentation and communication of audit results – also in relation to management Follow-up of agreed measures including assessment of their adequacy, effectiveness and sustainable implementation Participation in internal audit quarterly and annual reports, including consolidated reporting at group level Active development of revision methodology, testing standards, quality assurance and internal processes Advising specialist areas and project teams in questions related to revision Coordination with subsidiaries, external auditors, supervisory bodies and other relevant stakeholders

Complete study of law or economics or comparable qualifications Multiannual relevant professional experience in internal auditing, auditing, banking supervision, compliance, risk controlling or in a comparable function in the financial services environment Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the banking sector and a good understanding of governance, risk and control systems Experience in the independent implementation of demanding audits, ideally including audit management, reporting and action tracking knowledge of the application of modern testing methods and techniques as well as a safe handling of risk-oriented testing approaches Understanding processes, controls, risks and governance structures in banks or financial services companies Analytical thinking capacity as well as a structured, independent and careful working High quality and responsibility awareness combined with a pragmatic “Hands-on” mentality Safe appearance, communication strength and the ability to also represent critical test results constructively and convincingly Very good knowledge of German in word and writing This is what awaits you: A responsible and versatile task with insight into all key areas of the bank High self-responsibility, scope for design and the possibility to actively contribute to the further development of the internal audit Direct communication with decision-makers and an environment in which technical assessments are important A collegial working environment with short decision paths A challenging field of activity with high professional visibility and diverse development possibilities
