Structural Inspection Technician (m/f/d)

Maintenance of test equipment and test vehicles (e.g. test and measuring instruments, equipment components, etc.) Construction engineering, construction engineering, transport engineering and accident protection technical preparation and technical support of construction tests Preparation of test equipment, test vehicles and protective equipment against crashes based on the weekly test plans for the individual buildings to be tested Providing the above-mentioned test technology and test vehicles on the day of testing and construction or Installation at the respective building on site and degradation after completion of the test Safeguarding the building inspectors with personal protective equipment against crash (PSAgA) Collection and completion of building data by local recording of component dimensions and material characteristics

State-tested technicians in the field of civil engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering or building materials engineering or related fields or similar or acquired by professional experience, equivalent suitability Multiannual professional experience in construction engineering, in particular in bridge construction, bridge testing and bridge maintenance and ready-to-use knowledge in specialist software (e.g. SIB BW) Inspection certificate G 41 (‘work with crash risk’) or Suitability and willingness to collect it required Required for the acquisition of the high-level worker's right of access to land and construction sites, freedom from dizziness (safety in unobstructed as well as in mountainous or rocky terrain) and physical and health Willingness to work in night hours and weekends Class C or CE driving licence and readiness to operate a service vehicle and readiness to travel within the branch
