Team Leader Maintenance Structures in Structural Engineering (m/f/d)

In order to support our team of building conservation at the Hanover office, we are looking for you as a team leader in construction engineering (w/m/d).

You take over the technical and disciplinary leadership, control and organization of the team. Promote and develop employees with regard to their tasks, conduct annual discussions, motivate employees and ensure information sharing and knowledge management. You bear the responsibility for the team's actions and results, as well as the associated tasks, processes and projects. These include, in particular, technical quality monitoring of technical solutions in the maintenance and repair of bridges, traffic sign bridges and noise protection walls in highly compressed motorway sections, as well as planning and coordination with stakeholders from administration, politics and the public. You take over the construction supervision of new construction and refurbishment measures, including project management and on-site inspection of services. In addition, you are a contact person for construction companies, engineering offices and internal specialist officers, organize traffic regulations, coordinate services of third parties, carry out follow-up management, carry out measurements according to VOB and pay attention to compliance with the DAfStb directive in case of damage eliminations and repairs in engineering. You shall ensure the time and cost control by monitoring the contractually due services with MaViS, coordinate construction measures, project applications and project management, and take over the data management and the coordination of traffic regulations. You create lists of services including construction descriptions, provide financial resources, answer specialist questions of the awarding authority and check submission results professionally, objectively and computationally. In addition, you create technical opinions and reviews. You take over contract management and contract management and use SAP as well as iTWO for cost determination and contract management of engineering and construction contracts for planning and construction projects.

The optimal prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed academic study in the field of civil engineering with a focus on constructive engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience. You have several years of professional experience in the described field of work as well as well as well-founded expertise in construction engineering and the relevant technical regulations, guidelines and legal requirements (e.g. M-BÜ-ING, HOAI, RSA 21, ZTV‐ING, FStrG). You have very good German skills (min. level B2 to GER/CEFR). You have a class B driver's license and willingness to travel.

That would be desirable: You have well-founded skills and knowledge in subject-related data processing, in particular in dealing with Microsoft Office and the iTWO alert and billing system.
