Junior Data Analyst Operations Research (m/f/d)

Do you want to contribute to the analysis of skills of the Bundeswehr and other European armed forces using surgical research methods and quantitative data analysis?

Does it appeal to you to participate in simulation-based analyses, from conceptual design to methodological implementation to statistical evaluation of simulation results? Are you interested in arranging analysis results together with military domain experts: to introduce themselves to the internal know-how transfer as well as to support young academics?

The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the support of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Analysis of capabilities of the Bundeswehr as well as other European armed forces using Operations Research (OR) methods and quantitative data analysis after thorough incorporation Participation in the further development of OR methods, in particular in the context of planning, implementation, preparation and visualization of simulation-based analyses Contribution to the design and implementation of application-related analysis concepts and plans for simulation-based investigations in the context of projects Evaluation of the simulation results of these investigations in the form of raw data using statistical methods Participation in the analysis and evaluation of statistical results of simulation-based investigations in cooperation with military domain experts: Supporting the internal know-how transfer by participating in the methodological training and the professional support of the young academic (work student:innen, Intern:innen, Masterand:innen)

Completed studies in mathematics, sociology, psychology, economics, preferably with the direction of deepening Operations Research, or comparable Experience in statistical or quantitative data analysis First knowledge of the application of simulation tools would be ideal Standing for occasional missions Very good German and good English skills
