IT Application Manager BIM / CAD (m/f/d)

In this key role you drive forward the digital transformation of our planning processes. You develop and implement a modern, BIM-based planning environment that lays the foundation for efficient, networked and sustainable projects. You will focus on innovative applications such as CDE platforms, BIM viewers and planning systems. You ensure the administration of our CAD systems for rail vehicles (AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Inventor, Zuken E3) and thus supports planning and maintenance. AutoCAD Architecture – including the interface to the PLM system – and brings digital standards into the structural implementation. As backup, you can support other CAD applications for infrastructure planning (e.g. Bentley MicroStation) as well as the PLM system (CIM Database). You work closely with demand management, IT architecture, IT operation, IT security as well as internal departments, customers and external partners – making an integrated digital landscape. To be successful from the outset, you will receive a structured and solid integration plan that will introduce you step by step into your tasks and our systems. This allows you to build up your expertise and quickly take responsibility.

Your basis is a successful study of computer science, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification. In addition, you can present relevant professional practice with focus on interfaces and standards – including IFC, BCF, DWG and ISO 19650. You can use your experience from working with project teams with us. You are using BIM and CAD software (preferably AutoCAD-based) or with interface connections. Ideally, you also have experience in programming (e.g. Python) as well as in the application of PDM, PLM and GIS systems. Personally, you score as a technically open-minded communication talent with a high customer orientation, a structured way of working as well as team spirit and self-responsibility.
