As Head of Department (m/w/d) Internal Audit, you take over both the strategic and operational responsibility for internal auditing of our house. You develop a risk-oriented audit strategy, create the annual audit plan and prioritise the audits according to the essential corporate risks. Initiate the audit of business processes and IT systems, assess the effectiveness of the internal control system and accompany external audits. In close cooperation with the Management Board and the departments, you are responsible for the preparation and presentation of the audit reports and report to the Management Board. As an idea provider, you actively accompany projects in their development phase and advise the areas in the implementation. In addition, guide and coach the team of internal auditing, promote the professional and personal development of your colleagues and ensure that the entire team fulfils its tasks with high quality and professionalism.

You have a completed economic studies or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in the revision of a credit institution. You know the regulatory and legal requirements for the revision – in particular MaRisk, KWG and relevant EU law – and move safely in this environment. As an experienced manager, you can convince with a modern, value-adding leadership style and create an environment where employees can take responsibility and develop. You combine pronounced analytical thinking with a good sense of risks, complex relationships and economic circumstances. A high level of quality and responsibility as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working. You are IT-affin, work safely with MS Office and are quickly available in bank-specific applications and systems. Team spirit, communication strength and a collegial team are of course for you – because good cooperation is an important success factor for you.
