As Head of (m/w/d) EHS Management, you are responsible for building and establishing EHS management at our site, in compliance with legal, operational and internal requirements. You ensure compliance and the continuous improvement of safety standards, develop appropriate strategies and implement them sustainably in the company. You are responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of EHS guidelines, processes and measures and are actively promoting the development of security culture at the site. You advise and support managers and employees on all issues of occupational and health protection and act as a central contact person for internal and external stakeholders. You plan and control audits, training and action programmes and ensure their professional and timely implementation, taking into account the applicable regulations.

A completed university degree in the field of safety engineering, environmental engineering, engineering or a comparable subject is the ideal prerequisite for this position. You have several years of professional experience in the EHS field and have already gained leadership experience in a comparable position. You have a well-founded knowledge of industrial safety law and relevant standards and management systems (e.g. ISO 45001) and apply them safely in practice. You are characterized by a pronounced leadership and communication strength as well as a high degree of enforcement and awareness of responsibility.
