You maintain and develop the central social media channels of JLU (current focuses: Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn) You plan, create and publish target-group-oriented content, in particular text, image and video contributions as well as Reels – from idea to publication You convey science and research topics in a comprehensible and targeted manner You prepare topics from study, campus life and university everyday creative, authentic and platform-oriented Watch current social media trends and develop matching content ideas and formats for the JLU You agree to content with internal and external contact persons and support the social media communities You evaluate relevant social media metrics and create regular and order-related reporting

completed academic studies; Communication or media reference Practical experience in social media management and content creation Feeling for storytelling, platform-oriented formats, digital trends and quality standards Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English, communication and team skills as well as independent and structured working methods Also advantageous are: Experience in science or university communication, in press and public relations or in journalism Experience with popular image and video editing programs (e.g. Adobe Premiere and Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut) as well as camera and shooting experience Experience with social media analytics and community management as well as the conception and implementation of social media or online campaigns
