Deployment & Support Engineer On-Prem (m/f/d)

CLADE offers a uniquely precise spectroscopy technology for a wide range of applications. This technology differs from conventional complex laboratory analysis by its speed, efficiency and reproducibility. Our product concept consists of a hardware component - our MIRA Analyzer, which performs chemical analyses in liquid environments within minutes by means of infrared spectroscopy. This allows us to create a digital fingerprint of a liquid in no time. With our customised applications - our software component Sphere - we can selectively filter the data obtained with the aid of pattern recognition and algorithms and prepare it for further processing.

You are responsible for stable, repeatable on-prem deployments and solves complex L2/L3 software escalations. You work at the interface between device, IT and software – remotely and locally at Go-Lives. You'll be with us...

Plan and perform on-prem installations and updates in Linux environments

accompanying Go-Lives on site, including validation, acceptance, performance checks and monitoring basics

work closely with the customer IT (access, network, security basics, backup/restore, change window)

Edit L2/L3 support cases: analyse logs, reproduce errors, develop workarounds and pass bugs cleanly to engineering

Build and maintain runbooks, knowledge base, checklists and diagnostic tools

Develop scripts for diagnostics and decreases (Python/Bash) and perform data checks with SQL

understand and apply standardized device checks for mixing problems

together with the Field Service define causes and decide whether a case is remote or onsite solved

you have experience in on-prem deployments, technical support, systems engineering or a comparable role

you can safely master Linux (Shell, Logs, Services, Package Management) and provide a solid network understanding (TCP/IP, Ports, DNS, Certificates-Basics)

you have experience with scripting (Python or Bash) and SQL basics

you are analytically strong, cleanly document and quiet as well as professionally communicate with customers:

you speak very good German and use English safely

you are ready to travel about 25–50 % (planable, with peaks at rollouts)

Nice to have: Experience with Docker, VMs, Monitoring or Security/Hardening

Experience in industrial or regulated environments incl. Validation and acceptance processes

Experience in building support processes (RCA, Incident Reviews)
