Team Leader Logistics / Shipping and Customs (m/f/d)

In this position you are responsible for our small team in the field of dispatch processing and customs. The administrative tasks include about 70% and the team management approximately 30% of the place. Administration: Organisation, disposition and shipment tracking of global land, air and sea transports taking into account country-specific requirements handling of dangerous goods transport Implementation of all customs formalities in export and import Freight negotiations as well as selection of suitable transport companies for complete and partial loads in compliance with the cost/performance ratio Intra-trade statistics in the field of exports Consultation and support of the specialist departments in all questions concerning shipping and customs Determination of proof of origin and preferences and classification and classification of goods Team management: Professional and disciplinary leadership for the team Coordination, implementation and monitoring of tasks in authorisation management Creating meaningful reports with the most important KPIs for the area Identification and implementation of optimization potentials and further development of processes in the field

Training as a freight forwarder / freight forwarder or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience Very good knowledge of customs processing and tariff Willingness to continue training with regard to new legal requirements and their implementation in existing processes Experience in the implementation of process optimizations, especially in cross-disciplinary cooperation as an interface function Good English knowledge of word and writing Of advantage in this position: First leadership experience in the function as team leadership Experience in handling ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Infor First experience in the export control classification of goods by AWG/WA, EC dual-use regulation and ITAR/EAR
