Cost/Value & Supplier Manager (m/f/d)

As part of our crew, you analyze cost structures of products, components and processes and identify specific savings and optimization potentials. To do this, you will create detailed cost calculations for modules and systems for determining target costs or deriving target prices. You plausibility offers (material costs, manufacturing costs, surcharges, etc.), increase cost transparency and identify cost drivers. In addition, you support technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers. You create presentations for technical, functional and commercial comparisons of purchase parts, support with Make or Buy analyses. In addition, you take over the control of supplier projects, in particular in the case of quality deviations, delivery bottlenecks or cost optimizations, and are also on-site, if necessary. For this purpose, plan, document and accompany supplier audits/validations of new and existing suppliers and carry out cross-disciplinary supplier reviews. Accordingly, you have a look at the supply chains and actively participate in the further development of risk analysis. You perform an important interface function between technical and commercial areas.

Successfully completed technical studies, e.g. in electrical engineering, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering, alternatively a related technical training Professional experience as a cost engineer, cost structure analyst, product cost calculator or comparable position, ideally also with experience in supplier/ supply chain management Experience in bottom-up product cost calculation High technical understanding and expertise on manufacturing technologies, quality requirements as well as knowledge about cost optimization methods such as value analysis/VAVE, design-to-cost, etc. Handling ERP systems and MS Office English knowledge in word and writing A communicative and independent personality with team spirit, commitment and readiness to travel (about 25% of activity, national and international) and a structured and targeted way of working.
