Internship in the board area – 3-6 months followed by a master's thesis (m/f/d)

As an intern (m/w/d) in the Management Board, you will get exciting insights into strategic issues. You are working on building a market simulation relevant to the company: How much market potential exists in our countries and business areas? What developments and changes are to be expected? Your internship is the basis for your subsequent master thesis. In this context, you will focus on the following topics: development of market models and data-based simulations (KI): You develop innovative market models and data-based simulations using modern AI methods to make complex market mechanisms and relationships transparent. In doing so, you analyze relevant influencing factors and trends and guide well-founded insights into the development of future market scenarios. Development and application of profit and value pool analyses: You develop and implement methods to analyze profit and value pools to systematically identify value creation potentials along markets and value chains. You evaluate key success factors and guide action recommendations to optimize strategic positioning. Development and application of scenario and assessment approaches: You develop scenario and assessment approaches for analyzing future market developments and evaluate different strategic options. On this basis, you will guide sound recommendations and contribute to the definition and sharpening of strategic impact directions.

You are passionate about data-driven analytics and strategic issues and you have the ability to penetrate complex relationships in a structured manner and translate them into models. You will also include: Current Master Programme in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable degree programme Impressed analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers and business relationships Good MS Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as reliable English knowledge in word and font High performance motivation as well as an independent, structured way of working A high level of discretion, reliability and loyalty
