homeandsmart is a leading test and consumer portal in the German-speaking Internet for the topics Smart Home, Home Energy, E-Mobility and Home Entertainment. With extensive guides, product tests and comparisons, we present clear recommendations on the latest technology trends such as solar systems and balcony power plants, heat pumps and power storage, robotic vacuum cleaners, air conditioning units and smartwatches and headphones. You are responsible for the independent creation of articles and videos – from research and product testing in the smart home sector to publication via our CMS. You control the SEO optimization of our content, analyze the performance with tools such as Google Analytics and develop strategies for better visibility, especially with Google Discover. As a senior editor, you actively shape editorial planning, advance the further development of our content formats and introduce your own ideas for new topics and series. You ensure editorial quality by editing contributions from team colleagues as well as external authors and acting as a central contact for product manufacturers.

You have an education or a completed degree in the area of editorial, digital media, communication management or a comparable area You have relevant professional experience as a editor or blogger (m/w/d) and have experience with search engine optimization (SEO) and/or Google Discover You have a reading-oriented, structured and lively writing style, are text-proof and have sound knowledge of the German spelling You are safe from the camera and can effectively present your experiences and impressions You have knowledge of how to use common graphics or video editing software You bring experiences in dealing with content management systems and web analysis tools, such as Google Analytics You are interested in technology products and you are passionate about modern digital life, such as smart home, language assistants, app-controlled products, electromobility, energy generation and storage at home You draw your attention through your own initiative, hand-on mentality, commitment, sense of responsibility and team spirit You have knowledge of German in word and writing (C2)
