Supplier Developer Engine Parts (m/f/d)

As a supplier developer (m/w/d) in quality assurance at our production site in Schkeuditz, you are responsible for the development, support and qualification of suppliers for engine components and assemblies of reciprocating piston compressors. Ensure the sustainable fulfilment of our quality requirements and drive the continuous improvement of supplier performance along the entire value chain. This includes: Development, support and qualification of suppliers for engine components and assemblies as well as various components of reciprocating piston compressors in close cooperation with procurement, technology and development, production and quality assurance Assessment and qualification of new suppliers through potential analyses as well as assessment of the quality and process capability and implementation of regular supplier audits Assessment of the quality and performance of existing suppliers based on relevant quality indicators and audit results Monitoring, analysis and continuous improvement of key figures in terms of quality, timing and costs Defining, implementing and tracking quality assurance measures in close cooperation with suppliers, procurement, technology and development, production and quality assurance Analysis of quality deviations and introduction of sustainable improvement measures including action documentation, effectiveness assessment and 8D report Implementation of quality assurance projects – Coordination of the project team Supporting student work Management of technical discussions with suppliers Compilation of statistics and reports Supporting national and international suppliers on site

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree programme Multiannual professional experience in the field of supplier development, quality assurance or production Knowledge of manufacturing processes for engine parts (e.g. machining, forging, casting, heat treatment) Good knowledge of quality management systems (EN 9100, ISO 9001) Reading and interpreting technical drawings with knowledge of GPS standardization Knowledge of quality management and common quality tools (8D, FMEA etc.) Analytical thinking Team, communication and moderation capability and enforcement capability Flexibility, high readiness to travel in Germany and abroad and self-responsibility IT knowledge and good knowledge in MS Office Very good knowledge of German and English
