System administrator Server administration expert (w/m/d)

Their core task is to install, configure and maintain Windows servers (version 2016) and client operating systems (Windows 10/11) including regular updates and performance optimization. As part of the server administration, you take over the implementation and management of virtualization technologies as well as the development of backup strategies to ensure data availability. You take care of the Microsoft Exchange environment and the management of Active Directory incl. User rights, group policies and security measures. The management of server roles as well as SQL databases including backups and recovery are also part of your task. You take over the administration of Linux servers and the automation of tasks using PowerShell scripts incl. Software distribution. They implement security policies and implement second-level support in complex issues. In addition, you will see technical improvements and additional marketing opportunities. You're taking part in the standby service.

You have a degree or a successfully completed training and have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of server administration. They have very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (servers from 2016, Windows 10/11) including virtualization, storage and backup (including Veem backup). You also have sound know-how in Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and SSL certificates. They are experienced in Linux administration and second level support. They have technical understanding in the fields of PowerShell scripts and software distribution. Knowledge of network technologies LAN, WAN, WLAN and switching VLAN are desirable. Team skills and customer orientation are both unique motivation and commitment. They have a class B licence.
